The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities reported that the number of visitors to Wadi Rum during the past two months of 2024 reached 18,359, with the majority being foreign tourists.

According to ministry data, there were 6,814 visitors in January and 11,545 in February. Foreign visitors constituted the majority at 14,200, while Arabs accounted for one percent, totaling 187 visitors, and Jordanian visitors accounted for 22 percent, totaling 3,972, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
